Digital Signage

Turn any browser-capable screen into a workplace display — alerts, Communications posts, recognitions, and events on any screen that can open a web page. No partner hardware required.

Overview

Digital Signage runs as a web page, not a device agent: register a screen once, then point any Chromium browser at its display URL, or drop it into an existing signage platform as one more zone. Because the feed comes from inside OneMango, a screen can also rotate what's live elsewhere in the account: OKR progress, Live Boards visualizations, and Contests leaderboards, alongside alerts, Communications posts, recognitions, and open shifts — each switchable per screen.

Custom media can move through an approval workflow: a local manager publishes for their site, a reviewer signs off before it goes live, and every change is logged. Ask AI can tell an admin which screens are offline or what's pending review, and approve a slide for a reviewer who confirms it. If a screen goes offline, a service worker keeps it rotating its last content, and a daily email tells the app's admins about any screen that has not checked in for 24 hours or more.

See how any browser-capable screen becomes a workplace display — scheduled media, an approval workflow, real-time alerts, and delivery analytics, with no partner hardware to buy.

Highlights

Turn any browser into a workplace display — Fire TV, smart TV, Raspberry Pi, or a repurposed tablet — with no partner hardware and no signage server. Pay-as-you-go, billed in packs of registered screens that follow your count.
Upload your own images and videos, schedule them by date, scope them to one facility or push org-wide, and route them to specific screens by zone.
Gate content behind an approval workflow — local managers compose for their site, corporate signs off before anything goes live.
Show a Safety Hub alert that goes to everyone on your screens — urgent ones pinned to the front for 24 hours — and rotate Communications posts, recognitions, events, open shifts, Live Boards visualizations, OKR progress, and contest leaderboards automatically.
Keep screens running through outages with offline playback, and have the app's admins emailed once a day about any screen that has not checked in for 24 hours or more.
Track what's playing with slides-delivered analytics, and ask the built-in AI agent which screens are offline or what's awaiting approval.

Capabilities

Deploy on Any Screen
  • Each screen is a web page opened by its own display URL — no partner SDK, no signage server, no device agent
  • Runs on any Chromium browser — Fire TV, smart-TV browser, Raspberry Pi, repurposed tablet, Chromecast
  • Embed as one zone in any signage platform's "web URL" content slot BrightSign, Scala, Signagelive, Rise Vision, OptiSigns, Yodeck
  • Drops into an existing signage layout as a framed web-URL zone (cross-origin framing enabled)
  • Per-screen light / dark theme
  • Branded header + footer image and footer text per screen
Content on Screens
  • Safety Hub alerts sent to everyone — urgent ones pinned to the front for 24 hours Requires the Safety Hub app. On screens for 24 hours after sending (until a longer acknowledgement chase-up window ends, or until the alert is stood down); an alert sent to particular people, groups or roles never appears on a screen
  • Communications posts — must-read pinned, 14-day recency window Requires the Communications Hub app; only posts that go to everyone
  • Employee recognitions (opt-in per tenant)
  • Upcoming company events open for registration (next 14 days) Requires Company Events switched on in Calendar
  • Open shifts at the screen's location (opt-in) Requires the Shifts & Scheduling app
  • Company-level OKR progress — current-quarter objectives with traffic-light status Opt-in; requires the OKR Hub app enabled for the tenant
  • Live contest leaderboards — top-3 podium for running company-wide contests, and Scan to vote while a This or that vote is open Shown once the Contests app is enabled; Contests' own switch (or a per-screen override) can turn it off
  • Live Boards visualizations — stat cards, gauges, and sparkline trends flagged "publish to signage" Shown once the Live Boards app is enabled; Live Boards' own switch (or a per-screen override) can turn it off
  • Per-screen content rules — choose which streams each screen shows
  • Day-part scheduling — turn a content stream on/off by time window per screen
Custom Media Library
  • Upload your own images (PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP) and videos (MP4/WebM)
  • Schedule media with start / end dates
  • Per-image display duration; videos play to their full length
  • Scope media to a single facility/location or push org-wide
  • Zone tags route a slide only to matching screens (e.g. "cafeteria")
  • Manually order slides in the rotation
Governance & Approval
  • Approval workflow — local managers author, a reviewer approves before content goes live
  • Reject with a reason the author sees; with approval required, only a reviewer can change an approved slide, and the change sends it back for review
  • "Who can publish content to screens?" picker — managers, people managers, everyone with app access, app admins, or specific groups
  • Administrative audit log — every screen, settings, and media change, with user and timestamp, and the IP for changes made in the browser
  • Business-scoped isolation — every screen and slide hard-scoped to its tenant
Screen Operations & Monitoring
  • Register a screen once, then copy its display URL onto any device
  • Heartbeat on each screen's refresh interval (30–300s, every minute by default) — online / offline / never-connected status
  • Rotate a screen's token on demand (replaced or compromised device)
  • Activate / deactivate a screen without deleting it
  • One daily email about screens that have not checked in for 24 hours or more Sent to the app's designated app admins; to business admins only when none is designated or reachable by email
  • Offline playback — a service worker keeps the last feed and media rotating through an outage
Analytics & AI
  • Slides-delivered analytics — by content type, by item, by screen, and per day
  • Screen status tiles (Online, Offline, Never connected, Inactive) plus CSV export of the delivery figures
  • Ask AI agent — "which screens are offline?", "show media pending approval", "who changed settings?"
  • Approve or reject a pending slide straight from the AI agent (reviewers only, with confirmation)
  • One-click sample data to preview screens and analytics before you register real hardware

Use cases

Lobby visitor display
Point a 65" smart TV or Chromecast in the lobby at the display URL — it rotates company news, recognitions, and upcoming events on a light theme with a branded footer. Visitors see what makes the company tick.
Break room engagement
Wall-mount a tablet or Fire TV in break rooms. Recognitions and Communications posts rotate, an urgent alert sent to everyone is pinned to the front, and open shifts surface for the location — reaching deskless staff who don't check email.
Manufacturing floor safety
Dark-theme screens at workstations, configured to show alerts only (no recognitions, no posts). An urgent Safety Hub alert sent to everyone is pinned to the front of the rotation for 24 hours, and connected screens refresh within seconds of the send.
Existing signage platform tenant
Already running BrightSign, Scala, or Signagelive? Paste the OneMango display URL into a new "web URL" content slot. Keep the multi-zone layouts and scheduling you already have; OneMango just supplies the content into one zone.
Multi-location healthcare / senior care
Corporate pushes system-wide announcements, recognition, and safety reminders to every facility, while each site's manager composes location-specific media. The approval workflow keeps a sign-off step in the loop, the audit log records every change for compliance, and offline playback rides out spotty building Wi-Fi.
Designed graphics & video screensavers
Upload a designed announcement graphic, a recognition slide, or a short culture/safety video and push it straight to screens — scheduled for a date range, scoped to the right facility, and rotating alongside live alerts and news. No routing through another app.

FAQ

It's pay-as-you-go, billed in packs of registered screens that follow your count — there's no per-employee fee and no license to buy. Any tenant can turn the app on; the screens you have registered count from your first one, whether a screen is active or deactivated, online or offline. Register more than your pack holds and it moves up to the next one; remove screens and it moves down on the 1st. Sample screens don't count.

No. Any device with a modern browser works — Chromium on a Raspberry Pi, a Fire TV, a smart-TV browser, a repurposed tablet, or a Chromecast. There's no partner SDK, no signage server, and no device agent to install.

Any browser. There's no signage server to stand up and no device agent to install: you register a screen, OneMango hands you a unique display URL, and opening that URL fullscreen on any browser-capable display starts the feed. You can load built-in sample data to preview screens and analytics before you connect any real hardware — sample screens don't bill, so evaluating it costs nothing but a browser tab.

Every signage platform supports a "web URL" content source. Register a screen in OneMango, copy its display URL, and paste it into your platform's admin as one content slot. Your platform handles the scheduling, multi-zone layout, and branded chrome; OneMango delivers fresh content into that URL zone.

Yes. Each screen has its own content rules — pick which streams to show (custom media, alerts, Communications posts, recognitions, events, open shifts, OKR progress, Live Boards visualizations, and contest leaderboards), a per-screen light/dark theme, refresh interval, rotation speed, and branded header/footer. You can also day-part a stream on or off by time window per screen.

Yes. The custom media library lets admins and authorized managers upload images (PNG/JPG/GIF/WebP) and videos (MP4/WebM) straight to screens. Each item can be scheduled with a start/end date, scoped to a specific facility, tagged to zones, ordered manually, and given a display duration. Videos play to their full length; images rotate on the interval you set.

Yes. Leave "Require media approval" on (it is by default). Local managers can then compose media for their facility, but it stays Pending until a reviewer approves it — reviewers are whoever "Who can approve media before it goes live?" admits, app admins and business admins by default. Reviewers approve, reject (with a reason the author sees), or unpublish from the review queue. Once an item is approved only a reviewer can change it, and that change sends it back for review, so a swapped image can't bypass sign-off. A configurable "Who can publish content to screens?" picker controls who may author at all.

The dashboard flags a screen offline about five minutes after its last heartbeat. If the network drops, a service worker keeps the screen rotating its last-known feed and media (not a frozen single frame) and catches up when connectivity returns. A daily sweep also emails the app's designated app admins (business admins when none is designated) about every active screen that has not checked in for 24 hours or more, each day for up to 14 days, so a kiosk that lost power overnight doesn't silently stay dark for weeks.

Yes. The Analytics page shows slides delivered by content type, by item, by screen, and per day, plus screen status tiles and a CSV export. There's also an Ask AI admin agent you can ask things like "which screens are offline?", "show me media pending approval," or "who changed signage settings recently?" — and reviewers can approve or reject a pending slide directly through it, with a confirmation step.

Digital Signage drives unattended, always-on screens that rotate a content feed for whoever walks by — a lobby TV, a break-room display, a factory-floor monitor. Communications broadcasts and Safety Hub alerts push a message to employees' own devices and inboxes (a Safety Hub alert sent to everyone also shows on your signage screens — for 24 hours after it is sent, or to the end of a longer acknowledgement chase-up window, unless it is stood down first). Town Halls runs live sessions people tune into. Use Digital Signage when the goal is a shared physical display, not a message delivered to individuals.
