Dependable service is everyone's work
A sample leadership letter from Northstar Services
Every day, teams across Northstar answer customers, hand work to one another, and solve problems that never made it into a plan. That steady effort is what customers experience as our service, and it deserves to be recognized.
This quarter we are focusing on dependable service. That does not mean asking people to work harder. It means finding the places where good work gets stuck and removing friction one issue at a time.
What we ask of you
Tell us what is getting in the way. A useful example names the work, where it stalls, who is waiting, and what the delay affects for a customer or colleague. One specific example is more helpful than a general complaint.
What you can ask of us
Ask for a clear answer, a role responsible for the next step, and a date for the next update. If we cannot resolve something yet, we should say what remains open and how it will be revisited.
