Prepare the request, then use Digital Signage
Before submitting, identify the screen zone and audience, prepare the content, and name the person responsible for submission and approval. Propose a display period and a review or expiry date. These details help the zone owner and approver make a clear decision.
Submit and manage the request in Digital Signage. This guide does not provide a separate form or schedule, and the exact fields and handoff depend on your organization’s Digital Signage setup.
Submission handoff
Use this sequence to prepare; complete the request and any schedule changes in Digital Signage.
-
1
Identify the screen zone
Check the intended location and audience in Digital Signage. If ownership is unclear, ask the signage program owner before proceeding.
-
2
Prepare the content and context
Provide the material, explain what employees should learn or do, and state the intended display period.
-
3
Name the submitter and approver
Make clear who is submitting the item and who will confirm it is ready for the publishing handoff.
-
4
Set a review or expiry date
Choose a date for someone to check whether the item remains relevant, or a date after which it should be retired.
-
5
Submit and follow the handoff
Enter the request in Digital Signage and follow the approval and scheduling steps available in your tenant.
What happens before content is scheduled
Governance makes the decision and ownership clear; Digital Signage remains the place to manage the item.
Zone owner checks fit
The zone owner considers whether the content belongs on that screen and suits its audience.
- Confirm the correct zone.
- Ask for changes if the purpose or audience is unclear.
Approver confirms readiness
The approver checks the submitted content for the agreed handoff. Approval does not itself guarantee a schedule or publish the item.
- Resolve requested edits with the submitter.
- Complete the applicable handoff in Digital Signage.
