A shared view of the work
What SQDCP means and why teams review it together
SQDCP stands for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People. These five lenses help a team notice what has changed, agree what needs attention, and identify when support from another tier is needed.
The daily review is a short, structured conversation about the workânot a second reporting system. People closest to the work share relevant observations, and the team agrees an owner and next action through its configured process.
This guide explains the practice. It does not contain current results, schedules, or action records.

Five lenses for the daily conversation
Use each lens to frame observations and questions, not as a substitute for the live board.
Safety
Discuss hazards, safe ways of working, and changes that could affect people.
- Describe what was observed and where.
- Identify any immediate action or support needed.
Quality
Discuss whether work meets the required standard and where a defect or unclear handoff needs attention.
- State the issue and its effect on the work.
- Agree who will check or resolve it.
Delivery
Discuss whether work can proceed as planned and what is blocking the next step.
- Name the blocked work or dependency.
- Identify who can confirm the next step.
Cost
Notice avoidable effort, waste, or resource use that the team can investigate.
- Describe the observed source of extra effort.
- Agree what evidence or review is needed.
People
Discuss the capability, coverage, and coordination needed to do the work safely and effectively.
- Identify a work-related capability or coverage need.
- Agree who can address or raise it.
Keep the conversation useful
Stay with observable facts, clarify what has changed, and agree a specific next action with an owner. If the team cannot resolve an issue or needs a decision or coordination beyond its scope, take it to the next tier using the configured Live Boards and Frontline Execution process.
