A focused daily review
A practical sequence for the team meeting
The team lead facilitates the discussion. People closest to the work bring relevant observations and clarify what they have seen. Confirm the applicable meeting scope, cadence, and local participants with your team; those arrangements are configured for each operation and are not set by this guide.
Open Live Boards and Frontline Execution before the meeting for the current board and schedule. Use the live process to record actions and ownership.
Use the live board to guide the discussion
-
1
Review the current board
Open Live Boards and Frontline Execution and review the current observations and any actions due for discussion.
-
2
Ask what changed
Invite the people closest to the work to explain relevant changes across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
-
3
Agree the next action
For each item needing follow-up, agree a specific next action and an owner. Record them in the configured live process.
-
4
Identify what needs more support
If the team cannot resolve an issue or needs another tier's decision, coordination, or resources, prepare a clear escalation.
-
5
Confirm the handoff
Check that the owner and next action are clear, and use the configured Live Boards and Frontline Execution route for follow-up.
Use the operational app, not this guide, for the work
Live Boards and Frontline Execution is the source for current board information and configured schedules.
Open Live Boards and Frontline Execution to review current items and record actions through the team's configured process.

Before the next tier
Make unresolved items understandable to the receiving tier: state the issue, what the team has checked, what support is needed, and who will carry the next action. See Escalations Between Tiers for the handoff guidance.
