Frequently asked questions

How often should HVAC PM be performed?

ASHRAE recommends quarterly inspection for commercial systems. Spring and fall are the critical visits (cooling startup, heating startup); summer and winter are typically check-and-clean visits.

Does this template cover refrigerant compliance?

It captures the data EPA Section 608 requires (no leak rate calculations). Maintain a separate refrigerant-recovery log if you handle systems with >50 lb charge.
