Frequently asked questions

Does this audit cover EPA Tier II reporting?

No — Tier II is annual chemical inventory reporting (EPCRA §312). This audit covers operational HazCom (storage, labels, SDS, spill response). Run both for full chemical compliance.

How do we handle small "satellite" containers?

EPA 40 CFR 262 allows up to 55 gal at the point of generation. Containers must be labeled "Hazardous Waste" and closed except when adding waste. Move to main accumulation area within 3 days of full.
