Frequently asked questions

Does this replace a written permit?

It captures the data the permit requires but most jurisdictions also expect a printed/signed permit document. Print this checklist as the back-up record after entry.

Who can be the attendant?

A trained authorized employee, separate from any entrant. The attendant must remain outside, maintain communication, and never enter to attempt rescue unless they are part of a designated rescue team and properly equipped.
