Frequently asked questions

Should pedestrians be excluded entirely from forklift travel zones?

OSHA 1910.178 prefers separated pedestrian and forklift travel where feasible (painted lines, barriers, time separation). High-vis PPE is the minimum when separation isn't possible.

How quickly do we need to take damaged racking out of service?

ANSI MH16.1 says any damaged upright should be off-loaded within 24 hours and replaced before reloading. Document the damage with a photo and quarantine the bay.
