Compensation Management onboarding (access before data)

The plan we use for the platform's most sensitive data — access tested with real accounts before a single salary is imported, pay structures modelled from the real policy, and a compensation cycle whose every change is attributable.

Rolled out to every employee at AutoZone (125,000), PetSmart (50,000+), A.S. Watson and Raley's (20,000) — and at larger retailers we are not permitted to name.

Frequently asked questions

What is different about implementing compensation management?

The order. Permissions are configured and tested with real accounts and dummy figures before any salary data is loaded at all. Every other application can tighten access afterwards; here a leak cannot be undone, and the customer will correctly treat it as an incident rather than a defect.

How long does it take?

Three to four weeks of configuration, but the cycle date comes from the customer's fiscal calendar or bargaining agreement. Work back from their date and treat readiness two weeks earlier as the real deadline.

Should the first cycle use a merit matrix tied to performance ratings?

Only if a performance cycle has already completed and its ratings have been calibrated. Tying increases to ratings nobody trusts turns the compensation cycle into a dispute about performance management instead.
