Timesheets onboarding (approved time that leaves the building)

Getting time from entry to approved export without a payroll surprise — a period and approval chain that fits how the company already works, categories people can pick correctly, and one full cycle reconciled in parallel before the export is trusted.

Rolled out to every employee at AutoZone (125,000), PetSmart (50,000+), A.S. Watson and Raley's (20,000) — and at larger retailers we are not permitted to name.

Built for: Professional-services · Field-service · Manufacturing · Healthcare · Technology

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from Time & Attendance?

Time & Attendance captures clock-in and clock-out. Timesheets is the reviewed, approved record that leaves the building — to payroll, invoicing or project costing. Customers who have both get pre-populated timesheets, which turns the task from remembering a week into checking it, and is the single biggest accuracy gain available.

How long does it take?

Two to three weeks to a first parallel cycle. The pacing constraint is the period length: proving it takes at least one full cycle plus a reconciled export, so a monthly timesheet cannot be proven in a fortnight.

What goes wrong most often?

Too many categories. A long list of projects or cost centres produces confidently wrong data, because people pick something plausible at the end of a long day. A short list that is occasionally too coarse is far more useful than a long one that is quietly inaccurate.
