E-Signature onboarding (first signed document)

A short implementation with two things worth getting right — counsel satisfied that these documents are enforceable signed electronically, and templates built for whatever the customer sends every week so nobody is rebuilding fields by hand.

Rolled out to every employee at AutoZone (125,000), PetSmart (50,000+), A.S. Watson and Raley's (20,000) — and at larger retailers we are not permitted to name.

Built for: Professional-services · Healthcare · Financial-services · Manufacturing · Retail

Frequently asked questions

How long does an e-signature rollout take?

Days for the software; the pacing item is legal sign-off. A customer can send a real signature request within a day of enablement, but should not send anything binding until their counsel has confirmed electronic signing is appropriate for those specific document types and jurisdictions.

What makes a signature defensible if it is challenged?

The audit certificate — signer identity, timestamp, IP address and the document hash — plus a completed document stored somewhere retrievable years later. Verifying that on the very first live document is worth more than any amount of configuration.

What is the sign that adoption has stalled?

The same document being sent repeatedly as a one-off. It means no template exists, so every send rebuilds the fields by hand — which is the point at which people quietly go back to printing.
